Ivy Washing Up Liquid

Makes 1 small bottle


  • 100-150g ivy for one wash


  1. Mash up the ivy leaves in your hands, if you have sensitive skin you may want to wear gloves as ivy can cause irritation.
  2. Cover with boiling water
  3. Simmer for 15 minutes and then allow to cool.
  4. Put it into a sealed container and leave overnight.
  5. To use the washing up liquid, strain it through a sieve or colander.  Pour the strained liquid into a small bottle for use.
